KILLARNEY bowler Brayden Buchanan is making the most of a purple patch, snaring 11 wickets in his past two matches. Buchanan collected 6-56 against Grassmere on Saturday – just a week after grabbing 5-21 against Hawkesdale. Buchanan’s efforts helped bundle the Meerkats out for 156 on day one of their Grassmere Cricket Association clash. Liam Cole also chimed in with 4-28. Grassmere opener Justin Coates top-scored with 62.
