Elliott (86), Adrian Benson (56) and Tim Huglin (52) all made half-centuries on day one of their Grassmere Cricket Association two-day clash on Saturday.
The Cats made 8-243 at Wangoom.

Elliott is wary of a Roosters’ response, highlighting Corey McKenzie as in form with the bat.
