Saturday’s festival will showcase gourmet producers from across the area in a laid-back, friendly setting out the front of the Timboon Railway Shed Distillery.
Visitors will be able to sample and buy produce including cheese, olives, berries, wine, ice-cream, fudge and duck, while listening to live music and taking in the relaxed surrounds.
Timboon Railway Shed Distillery owner Josh Walker said a number of producers had got on board for the first-time event.
“We’ve got 16 local producers who are going to be here, all in the one spot out the front of the distillery,” he said.
“It’s a good chance to get all the local produce together in the one place. People can come and sample it, take it home and enjoy a good day out with some live music as well.”
Mr Walker said the festival was a good chance for the public to get to know what local produce was out there.
“I think it will benefit not only the consumer but also the producers around here as well to help them showcase their products,” he said.
The festival, which has free entry, will be held on Saturday from 11am-3pm on the grass area at the Timboon Railway Shed Distillery.
