I agree wholeheartedly with Annie Gardner who has a farm near Penshurst (Your Letters, October 24).
She describes what it’s like for her and her family and other farmers who have no choice but to live amongst wind farms.
In my opinion these turbines are an ugly blight in areas that were once so naturally beautiful. They are also a danger to birds flying in the path of these towers.
The public has been manipulated into believing wind farms will solve all our future energy needs and deal with climate change problems etc.
However, the only ones who are going to benefit are those with financial vested interests who don’t care about anyone or anything other than big profits.
