A motorcyclist has been killed after crashing off the road near Warragul this morning.
The 54-year-old Labertouche man died after losing control of his motorcycle at Shady Creek just before 9.30am.
The man was riding with a group of other motorcyclists when he came off his bike while going around a bend on Old Sale Road.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The death takes the state's road toll to 234 for the year, up from 223 at the same point last year.
Meanwhile a man is fighting for his life and another suffering serious injuries after a car crashed in Melbourne's south-east this morning.
Police believe the car, carrying three men, was travelling west along Berwick-Cranbourne Road in Cranbourne East around 2.40am when it lost control and smashed into a barricade.
The front seat passenger was taken by air ambulance to hospital suffering life threatening injuries, while the driver was also airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The rear passenger remained trapped in the car for a number of hours.
