Jason Ryan, 35, of Saltau Street, was arrested by Geelong police in relation to a burglary at the hotel overnight Monday.
He was interviewed, charged and appeared in the Geelong Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Geelong police also interviewed Mr Ryan in relation to crimes allegedly committed in Warrnambool including assaults, a King Street burglary, drug matters and stolen goods offences.
Mr Ryan was remanded in custody on all offences to reappear in court on November 11.
A police spokesman said Mr Ryan made admissions during his interview with Geelong police.
Those officers also claim Mr Ryan was asleep under a tree near the hotel, beside goods allegedly stolen from the hotel and he appeared under the influence of drugs.
On July 26 Mr Ryan was convicted of trafficking ice and heroin and jailed for 45 days.
He was released in late August due to time served but arrested twice by Warrnambool police within days and charged with trespass, driving and drug offences.
