VicRoads regional director Mark Koliba said works in the area, set to begin in two weeks, would include the construction of a retaining wall.
“The tourism sector and a lot of business are hurting when the road is closed so we are trying to give some reassurance to the community and businesses that we are working hard,” Mr Koliba said.
