RURAL Ambulance officers were attempting to dismantle a hay feeding machine to free a farmer's leg at Leongatha South on Saturday morning.
The farmer, 51, was working with the machine when his leg got caught at about 7.30am. Medical staff were standing by to provide medical treatment once his leg was freed.
