Melbourne's Will Kostakis and Timboon export Shivaun Plozza will be at the bookstore from 4.30pm.
Plozza released her debut novel Frankie in April. Set in Collingwood, it tells the story of an angry young woman who goes in search of a missing young man but finds herself and love along the way.
Plozza’s short fiction, essays and poetry have appeared in anthologies and journals, and when she’s not writing she works as an editor and manuscript assessor, drawing on her masters degrees in creative writing and publishing, as well as her background as an English and philosophy teacher.
Kostakis is the author of Loathing Lola, The First Third and The Sidekicks. He won the Sydney Morning Herald Young Writer of the Year prize and an Inky Award, and was shortlisted for the CBCA Book of the Year for Older Readers, the Prime Minister's Literary Awards, and the Queensland Literary Awards.
