The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) students tested their project management skills on Tuesday by teaching two dozen Warrnambool Primary School grade fives the art of three-dimensional design and creation.
The program, designed to build self-confidence, allows year 12 students to demonstrate their skills and hands-on learning while their teacher takes a step back from instructing.
Mr Conlan said watching the teens was rewarding.
“They’re becoming trainers. It’s genuine responsibility and engagement and I think they’re doing a fantastic job at it,” he said.
