VicRoads project director Tim Price said the bridge was closed and traffic diverted for about seven weeks as new barriers were installed. “Contractors have also replaced the road surface on the approach to the bridge and have been applying carbon fibre to the underside to strengthen it,” he said. The works are part of the Princes Highway duplication from Winchelsea to Colac.
