A PORTLAND man has been charged with 13 burglary, theft and criminal damage offences committed as far back as 2007 after his DNA was linked to crime scenes.

Portland police arrested Nigel Stevenson, 35, of Willunga Street, Portland, last Thursday.
He was interviewed, charged with the offences and has now been remanded in custody until October 31.
Police allege the offences were committed between 2007 and just a couple of months ago.
