St Pius X Primary School was named the winner of the Powercor Tour de Depot Schools Incentive Program in May.
Students were recognised for their participation and fundraising efforts during the community bike ride for Standing Tall.
School wellbeing coordinator said the purchases from the funds went towards increasing wellbeing and were keeping the children entertained outside.
“Some of the equipment was purchased for sport while other bits and pieces help with imagination and creativity,” she said.
“It’s all been really good in getting out and about and active.”
Powercor project manager Ian Williams said St Pius X had taken out the first $2500 prize for the most participants and the second for the most money raised.
“It was a great effort,” he said.
