The Monash Freeway has reportedly been closed inbound after a car smash on the city's eastern fringe.
Police a still confirming details about the accident which happened near the Beaconsfield exit on the Princes Freeway, which feeds into the Monash, this morning.
Radio station 3AW tweeted about the closure this morning.
