The players will contest either the Southern Cross Challenge or Australian Country Junior Cup in January.
Warrnambool quartet Jay Rantall, Dominic Occhipinti, Liam Herbert and Hayden Rhook, who teamed to win silver for Vic Country at under 16 level, were picked for the under 18 roster. Hamilton duo Brooke Stone and Abbey Sutherland will join Portland’s Taylah Nelson in the under 18 girls’ section. Warrnambool trio Marcus Herbert, Riley Nicolson and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan were selected at under 16 boys’ level and Hamilton’s Joshua McQueen made the under 15 grade. Maddison Chesshire (Terang) and Jedah Huf (Hamilton) were named in under 14 girls’ squads and Braedyn Ross (Warrnambool) on the under 14 boys’ list. Hamilton’s Meg Sutherland and Terang’s Leah Bartlett were picked as emergencies at under 16 level.
