The Casterton area could receive between 20mm and 60mm over the next three days, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
By the end of the week, between 17mm and 50mm is expected to fall in Hamilton and Mortlake, and between 21mm and 65mm is anticipated in Warrnambool and Port Fairy. Heywood and Portland are predicted to get between 20mm and 60mm of rain by the weekend.
The Hopkins River is expected to get a top-up, with up to 55mm possible over the next three days in Ararat.
