Sarah McKean and Felicity Antony from Women’s Health and Wellbeing Barwon South West travelled to Adelaide this week to participate in a conference focused on the prevention of violence against women and children.
The conference was hosted by the Australian Women Against Violence Alliance.
Ms McKean said the event would assist with the implementation of international ideas into local spaces.
“It’s great to see that the Rotary Club of Warrnambool Central recognises the significance of the issue of violence against women in this community, and is investing in developing the prevention workforce,” Women’s Health and Wellbeing Barwon South West executive officer Emily Lee-Ack said.
