Former Western Waves glovesman Jimmy Tarbolton will line up for the Bulls this season while former teammate Peter Harris has also crossed from the Mortlake Cricket Club.
Tarbolton managed 16 stumpings and 10 catches in 14 games for Mortlake last season, while piling on 120 runs at an average of 24 per innings.
Purnim president Greg Bull expected the two to provide further depth for the Bulls on the back of key personnel – including Luke Ryan and Jake McKinnon – departing the club.
“(Jimmy) has had a couple of hits with us and has kept a little bit and you can tell straight away he’s a quality player,” he said.
“I think two-day cricket will really suit him too, with the longer form of the game in the Grassmere league.”
