The Spring Carnival Extravaganza Cocktail Party on October 7 hopes to attract about 200 people to the Whalers Hotel’s Skydeck Lounge, with all funds raised going to Warrnambool and District Community Hospice.
The not-for-profit hospice in the home program uses trained volunteers to help families care for their terminally-ill loved ones at home.
The night, which begins at 7pm, will include a cocktail on arrival, drinks at happy hour prices, canapes, a live band and auction. Auction items include accommodation packages, a car service, homewares and a website package.
Revelers also go into the running to win a Caufield Cup package for two that includes marquee entry, two nights’ accommodation and a betting voucher.
More than $1500 worth of spot prizes will also be given away on the night.
Tickets are $75 and can be purchased from the Whalers Hotel, Phinc Clothing and Homewares, Bamboo Juice and Warrnambool Muscle Therapy.
