UP to 60 people have been evacuated from the Archie Graham Community Centre on
Timor Street as emergency crews search the building for a suspected gas
leak.
One man in his twenties was treated at the scene by paramedics
after he was exposed to the gas shortly before 1pm.
Country Fire
Authority crews fitted in breathing gear have arrived at the scene and are
attempting to locate the source of the leak.
Victoria Police Sergeant
Dave McDonald said both lanes on Timor Street had reopened to traffic but said
it would take some time before the building was secure.
"A young male
felt ill effects and has been treated by paramedics at the scene," Sergeant
McDonald said.
