Picken, who suited up for the Bulldogs alongside Camperdown export Easton Wood in an injury-ravaged season for the club, managed an average of 22.8 disposals across 22 games.
He was drafted to the Bulldogs in 2009 as a 23-year-old in 2009 from Hamilton.
Meanwhile, Cobden export Gary Rohan has enjoyed a career-best season at Sydney.
The Swans speedstar has notched 21 goals from 14 games – including four goals against both Hawthorn and Richmond in 2016.
Fellow Cobden export Jackson Merrett – of Essendon – was also a consistent performer, playing 11 games for the Bombers.
Former Warrnambool star Jordan Lewis continued to shine for Hawthorn, playing every game and averaging 26.7 disposals.
