Jesse James, 29, of Carmel Drive, Warrnambool, admitted to 11 charges in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court relating to drugs and weapons.
He was convicted and placed on an 18-months corrections order with conditions including that he complete 200 hours community work and undertake treatment.
Police executed a warrant at his home on April 19 and James opened a locked music recording studio.
Officers found cannabis in glass jars, zip lock bags and a container.
There was ice, ice pipes, scales, two double blades machetes, a sword, a credit card folding knife, 50 Xanax tablets, $180 in cash and ammunition.
The total weight of the ice was 4.2 grams of ice valued at about $3000 and 96 grams of cannabis.
James told police he sold a "little bit of cannabis just to mates" and that he smoked daily due to anxiety after being the victim of a home invasion.
On July 15 police returned for a second raid and found a zip lock bag containing .28 grams of ice and 174 grams of cannabis as well as other drug paraphernalia.
Defence counsel Amanda Chambers said to say James' family was disappointed in him was an understatement.
Magistrate Ron Saines said the social impacts of drug use were devastating with more than 100 magistrates across the state dealing with cases daily involving use and associated crimes.
"Drugs are one of the most devastating problems facing Victorians," he said.
The senior magistrate said people were ruining their lives and negatively impacting on the lives of the people who cared for them.
Mr Saines said James had a prior court appearance for drug offences and his current crimes were compounded because he kept offending after the first police raid.
He said since the second raid James had made diligent efforts towards turning the corner in relation to his drug use.
"You are running out of chances," Mr Saines warned James before placing him on a corrections order.
