But instead, Mr Tripovich is taking on the challenge of a life time. On Monday, Mr Tripovich reached Yambuk in his walk around Australia.
“I started at the Melbourne GPO in February 2005,” Mr Tripovich said of his journey.
“I got to Pemberton, Western Australia, in January 2006 before I had to stop for family reasons. I started back up again in Pemberton on Australia Day this year and I hope to reach Melbourne by the end of September.”
Mr Tripovich is doing the walk to raise money for International Children’s Care Australia. He has a target of $200,000 and is currently at $75,000. He and his support driver Damien Buegge expect to reach Warrnambool on Thursday.
