The Warrnambool and District Football Netball League (WDFNL) has secured the Reid Oval for this Saturday’s preliminary final fixtures.
WDFNL general manager Dianne Membery said the Reid Oval was the perfect venue to lead into the penultimate day of the season.
“It was really important (to secure the Reid Oval). It’s a good size, it has great facilities and it has shelter and parking,” she said.
“It’s the best we’ve got around and it also allows for a big crowd.”
Membery said the league had enjoyed healthy gate figures throughout the finals series to date.
“They haven’t been too bad (crowd numbers), they haven’t been record breaking but they’re right up there with the numbers of previous years,” she said.
