The Blues will face off against reigning premier Koroit in a blockbuster grand final rematch at the ground on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Port Fairy will fight against elimination in a clash with Camperdown at the Friendly Societies Park on Sunday.
Hampden Football Netball League chief executive Mike Farrow said the grounds were chosen on the basis of their suitability for the fixtures on hand.
“We normally try to get some early finals in considering the demographics of the teams playing,” he said.
“We felt the Cobden Recreation Reserve was the best option for Saturday and this week of finals.”
Farrow said the Hampden league’s junior finals series had been strongly successful.
He offered his thanks to the clubs for their support.
“It was one of the best finals series we’ve had in many years in terms of crowds and interest,” he said.
