One of the two utes involved in the crash has been removed from the scene.
Workers are checking a traffic light for permanent damage.
Traffic was diverted around the intersection for about an hour, but it has returned to normal since the removal of one of the utes.
The other route remains on the median strip in the highway.
Sunday, 12.20pm: TWO utes will have to be towed away from one of Warrnambool’s busiest intersections after a collision around 11.45am.
An eastbound Mitsubishi dual-cab ute travelling along Raglan Parade collided with another ute which was heading south down Liebig Street, leaving the latter ute on its side against a traffic light.
Sergeant David McDonald said the southbound ute had run through a red light and the P-plate driver would be issued with an infringement notice.
No one was injured in the accident, although paramedics attended the scene as a precaution.
CFA and SES crews were also at the scene.
Eastbound traffic on Raglan Parade was diverted north up Liebig Street, while southbound traffic on Liebig Street is being detoured around the intersection.
