The Jacob Rhodes-coached side will play Ballarat Bulldogs in the Football Integration Development Association western conference grand final against Ballarat Bulldogs in Stawell on Sunday.
The Hurricanes booked their spot after winning four of their five matches in 2016.
Their only loss was to the all-conquering Bulldog line-up at Friendly Societies’ Park.
“Last time we met them they were pretty strong but it’s grand final day, so you never know what can happen,” Rhodes said.
“They are all pretty excited and looking forward to it.”
The western conference was developed this year, giving the Hurricanes a more structured program.
Southern Giants, Horsham Whippets and Hamilton Boomers make up the five-team competition.
Those three sides will play a round-robin as a curtain-raiser to the Hurricanes-Bulldogs grand final at North Park at 1pm.
