The Friends of the Warrnambool Botanic Gardens group has a family fun day planned for November 13.
Group member Pat Varley said expressions of interest are being sought for those who would like to take part.
”It will be a day for people of all ages to come and enjoy the gardens,” Ms Varley said.
“There will be lots to do, croquet, boules and quoits as well as musical performances by local artists. There will also be art activities, family portraits and food stalls.
“We want this to be a great community event where local organisations take the initiative and put forward ideas.
“It would be a triumph if we had 150 ways to enjoy the gardens in the 150th year.”
Activities held so far to mark the 150th year have included a photo competition and a night in the gardens event in May.
