The Kolora-Noorat defender finished runner up in the inaugural D.G. Membery Medal – the Warrnambool and District league’s ultimate netball prize – behind Allansford’s Stacy Mills.
Hoare was gifted the chance to play A Grade netball after a stellar season alongside fellow youngster Hannah Justin in the club’s under 17 side.
Hoare, who won three consecutive grand finals with the Power’s under 17s side and was awarded best-on-court in the side’s 2014 premiership, finished just one vote short of the league netball best-and-fairest Stacy Mills.

“Last year I played a couple of games up in A Grade but this season I was named in the seven every week. I really enjoyed it.
Hoare was best-on-court in no less than six of the Power’s 18 games.
