Mr McCosh, who works under the artist name of “Oh My Gosh McCosh”, has placed the poster on the rear of the scooter he is presently using.
The poster claims that Mr McCosh is running for election on a platform of getting a casino in Warrnambool so all residents “can hit the jackpot.”
The poster aims to raise a wry laugh from viewers, a goal Mr McCosh strives for with much of his work.
Mr McCosh said he used art to make a comment about what was going on in society.
Among the places he exhibits his work are the Country Life cafe in Fairy Street and the Fishtales cafe in Liebig Street.
One of his works at Fishtales details his vision of what will happen if American Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is elected.
