Detective Sergeant Mark James, of the Hamilton police crime investigation unit, said the theft was believed to have been committed last Saturday at 2pm when an alarm went off at the school.
There was no forced entry.
Detective Sergeant James said nine Apple mini iPads valued at about $5400 and nine laptops worth about $9000 were stolen.
He said the pupils, staff and school community had been left devastated by the burglary.
Anyone with information is requested to contact the Hamilton CIU or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000.
The burglary comes after electrical devices valued at about $10,000 were stolen from the Penshurst Primary School in late June.
Two men have been charged in relation to that burglary and theft but have not had their criminal matters finalised in court.
