Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a car park smash in Warrnambool late Wednesday afternoon. Senior Constable Jarrod Chatfield, of Warrnambool Highway Patrol, said the incident occurred in the Coles car park off Lava Street about 4.55pm. A driver reversed into a parked car. No one was injured. The driver was breathtested at the scene and investigations are continuing. Another two-car smash occurred on the corner of Banyan and Nelson streets about 4.40pm with those involved incurring minor injuries.
