The 21-year-old took out the Warrnambool and District A reserve netball best and fairest on Wednesday night despite carrying an the injury through the second half of the year.
“It wasn’t netball-related – it was more a night out,” Robertson joked about the mishap.
She polled 26 votes, including three best-on-court efforts, to win the award from South Rovers’ Megan Whelan.
Robertson said she was “really shocked” with the win, given what she perceived to be form struggles of late.
“My last few games have been pretty dismal, but I’m getting out there each night and practising,” she said.
This season marked her first back in the A reserve after a couple of years in the A grade side.
A broken foot forced her to take a step back this season, but she has relished the chance to drive the A reserve Kangaroos’ efforts in goals.
