The luncheon begin at 11am on Tuesday September 6 at the Noorat Community Centre with a guest appearance made by health advocate Dr Sally Cockburn, known as `Dr Feelgood’.
Founder Simone Renyard said the luncheon was an opportunity to recognise the important role women play in farming businesses.
“They’re in the dairy, out on the farm and rearing young stock, they’re also mums, financial controllers, taxis and often run the people side of the business,” she said.
“They wear multiple hats but it takes its toll if you don’t get to take a break.”
Event organiser Liza Fahey said the luncheon was a chance for dairy farming women to relax, look after themselves and catch up with like-minded women.
Bookings can be made at $25 per head before August 29. Call 5557 1000 or email amanda@westvicdairy.com.au to book or learn more.
