Nirranda trials different forward set-ups in big win over Russells Creek

NIRRANDA forwards Jesse Dalton and Gary Robinson have made the Warrnambool and District league take notice after a blistering effort in Saturday’s 29.24 (198) to 3.4 (22) win over Russells Creek. Blues coach Shane Threlfall said his side “tinkered a little bit” with its forward set-up, and they would have liked what they saw with Dalton and Robinson working beautifully in tandem to snag 17 goals between them. Threlfall praised the Blues’ selflessness and teamwork.
