Several Warrnambool City Council candidates, including three current councillors, spent Saturday morning chatting to voters on Liebig Street about issues they were concerned about.

The event formed part of the Councillors on Duty initiative that was set up in 2008 by councillor Peter Hulin and former councillor Jennifer Lowe, who is vying for a spot on council again this year.
Last week Warrnambool City Councillors Peter Sycopoulis, Peter Hulin and Brian Kelson invited all current councillors and other candidates to join them on the street between 10.30am and noon.
The prospective council candidates who came along to the gathering included Jennifer Lowe, Tracey Thomas, Christine Thompson and Richard Ziegeler.
Parking, horse-riding on the beach and better community consultation were among the issues the candidates said people were concerned about.
