Primmer, who has booted 16 goals from 12 outings since crossing from Warrnambool at the end of last year.
He will be joined by Bradley Smith, who has been named in the forward pocket, and key defender Liam Arnott, who will provide much-needed strength in the back half.
Reagan Nutting will also return to the fold after being named in the Blues’ preliminary side.

The Blues will host Russells Creek at home, with the first bounce at 2.20pm.
