The ‘Reveg The Flume’ project is on Sunday from 10am. It is part of National Tree Day.
This will be the 13th year since community volunteers first took on the task of transforming The Flume.
Organiser Erin Gundry said the project had changed The Flume from weed-infested dunes into beautiful habitat for native wildlife.
“Projects like Reveg The Flume are rebuilding lost habitat so that future generations of Warrnamboolians can experience a slice of nature right at their doorstep,” Warrnambool Coastcare Landcare Network chairman Bruce Campbell said.
