The Allansford Primary School student capped off a solid debut season with a swag of honours at the Junior Sedan Promotion Association of Victoria awards night on Saturday.
Jackson was named rookie of the year and collected B grade series and aggregate trophies.
Portland teenager Angus Hollis was crowned driver of the year after taking out the A grade series and aggregate titles.
Junior Sedan Promotion Association of Victoria president Leigh Van Ginneken, who will hold the role for a third season, said consistency was crucial.
“Jackson did 24 races this year and got on the podium 17 times,” he said.
“Angus won one or two feature races and had plenty of podiums. And he always finished.”
Warrnambool competitor Harry Ross, in his final season, was named drivers’ driver and Alexandra-based Jackson Lunt was presented with the esteemed Neville Pike Memorial Cup.
Van Ginneken said the 2015-16 season attracted in excess of 40 drivers to each round.
He said the presentation dinner’s success was a testament to the growing interest in the sport, which caters for drivers aged between 10 and 16 and is a pathway to higher speedway classes.
“It was unreal. Last year when we took over there was 100 people for dinner and this year we had just under 200,” Van Ginneken said.
“I reckon we doubled in cars this year as well.”
