The team at Anchor Point Village are always keen to share new developments about their retirement village that's more like a resort.
Most recently they are pleased to report the the village has continued its amazing transformation over the past year.
The friendly team at Anchor Point have really stepped it up a notch with a whole host of new activities and developments either recently completed, or underway.
Over and above the truly lovely homes they are building, Anchor Point now features a stunning barbecue area and a conservatory-style sunroom extension to the Clubhouse.
Anchor Point has a new art installation which has everyone talking, an outdoor sculpture fondly nicknamed ‘the cheese grater’, which has to be seen to be believed.
The village now serves up a beautiful lunch every week by a visiting chef, which is a popular outing on the calendar. All this means the residents have even more reasons to get out and make new friends, and are doing so in spades.
The orchard is now fully planted, with the first fruit being picked by owners. There’s also a new vegetable garden underway.
The ‘Mens Shed’ is finished, which is popular with the men who want to start a hobby, share a story, or have a break with like-minded men.
One example of where the village goes that one step further was few months ago, where the village sponsored An intimate evening at Anchor Point with an amazing performance by Daryl Braithwaite and his band.
