Some students had the opportunity to explore the theatrical side of performance by dressing up in costume and dancing along.
The performance formed part of a musical program set up by piano teacher Anita Hoekstra.
“It’s amazing, when they walk out they’ve picked up something,” Ms Hoekstra said.
Four students from the school, two from grade three and two from grade six, have been selected to join the chorus during Opera Australia’s production of The Marriage of Figaro at the Lighthouse Theatre next week.
