Leave the car behind and fill ’er up - 90 attend Warrnambool Ride and Walk to Work Day

NINETY people enjoyed a well-deserved breakfast on the Civic Green in Warrnambool yesterday morning.

They stopped off during their journey to work as part of the national Ride and Walk to Work Day.

Warrnambool City Council partnered with Deakin University to host the free breakfast and activities for participants, who included school teachers and students, children and parents and a large cross-section of CBD employees.

Event co-ordinator and council’s Healthy Moves officer Nicole Wood thanked sponsors and everyone who supported the event.
