Anita Collier, 50, of Polding Street, Port Fairy, pleaded guilty in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court to recklessly causing injury, two counts of unlicensed driving and three charges of failing to answer bail.
Collier had been in a relationship for two years and in January 2014 she argued with her partner.
She approached the man, struck him to the face, took up a fighting stance and said "come on let's fight".
The man fled inside their house and Collier tried to force her way in the back door.
A window was broken in the struggle, before she got in, bit him to the forearm breaking skin, abused him and picked up two spanner she used to strike him.
The man fled outside and she chased the victim across the road and into a paddock before she returned to her car and drove off.
She didn't have a Victorian licence. She later told police she wanted to "slap the man in the mouth".
Days later Collier was intercepted by police again driving without a licence.
She said she had a New Zealand licence but admitted living on-and-off in Victoria for more than 10 years.
Magistrate John Lesser said Collier had no excuse for the second driving while unlicensed offence only days after being picked up and she had failed to appear in court three times.
