The pressure relieving equipment include underlays, boots, support pillows and wedges to be used by cancer patients living at home.
Acute nurse unit manager Noelene Joosen said the donation was very beneficial.
“It improves the comfort for the patients, their quality of care and quality of life,” Mrs Joosen said. “It’s fantastic.
“That’s the focus, we want to keep people in the community at home if that’s their wish, the fact we can now supply that, it’s great.”
Founder Vicki Jellie said the foundation would continue to support south-west cancer services that benefited the community. “With our foundation going forward we want to help the region as well as the centre.”
Warrnambool’s South West Regional Cancer Centre was officially opened on Saturday.
