That’s the belief of captain Kasey Owen, as her third-placed Saints strive to start to bridge the gap on the top two.
She is hoping the Saints will be able to turnaround the 14-goal deficit from the last time the two sides faced off, back in round four.
Since then, Koroit has won six of eight games and drawn another, and hopes the winning momentum will hold it in good stead at Gardens Oval.
“It’ll be a really good contest, I think, and a good indicator of the finals,” Owen said.
“I know they’ve been playing really well, but they may have had a few injuries last week.
“We’re confident we can beat them.”
The Saints are coming off a solid 8-goal win against fellow top-five side Warrnambool, but Owen said there was still plenty of improvement to be had for the team.
