The 120-kilometre Cecil Shore Handicap on Saturday has attracted 75 riders.
Entries for Sunday’s Victorian 100-kilometre Championship, a scratch event, are down on previous years, with 38 cyclists registered.
Warrnambool competitor Matt Lane, Port Fairy trio Nathan McLaren, Matt Burchell and Simon Burchell, Portland’s Dylan Lindsey and Hamilton pair Clive Silcock and Chris Kennett will compete in both races.
Hamilton Cycling Club secretary Garry Aydon said the Cecil Shore Handicap was a time-honoured event preparing for its 67th running. The Victorian 100-Kilometre Championship consists 13 7.8-kilometre laps.
A new winner will be crowned with 2015 champion Conor Murtagh’s name missing from the entry list.
The Cecil Shore Handicap starts at 12.30pm Saturday and the Victorian 100-kilometre race at 10.30am Sunday.
