Applications for the Farm Risk Management Grants program are now available to assist those most affected by drought.
Eligible farmers can receive up to $10,000 as part of a $10 million Drought Community Support Package, announced by the State Government earlier this year.
The wait for rain has resulted in farmers paying thousands to keep stock alive and crops growing.
The grants are intended to help reduce the impacts of future drought by supporting businesses through planning, training and on-farm preparedness activities.
Further information is available from Rural Finance and applications close June, 2017.
