Epworth HealthCare, Peter’s Project and South West Healthcare are hosting the day on Saturday, July 16 at the South West Cancer Care Centre.

People will be able to see the results of their fundraising efforts and the hard work that has gone into the centre. 

The $30 million centre, opposite South West Healthcare’s Warrnambool Base Hospital, will be able to provide treatment to up to 500 patients a year, removing the need for those patients to travel to Geelong and Melbourne for radiotherapy treatment.

Instigated by Peter’s Project under Vicki Jellie, the community raised $5 million for the initiative.
