CLASSIC MAGIC SHOW: Port Fairy Library, June 29, 10am & Koroit Library, June 29, 12.45pm. Join Dazzling Dan for a magic show followed by an interactive pop-up magic club.
WEARABLE ART MARKET: COPACC, Colac, July 2, 10am. Market packed with handmade garments, accessories and decorative art, plus demonstrations and kids activities.
COMEDY: Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool, July 2, 8pm. Local comedians join Harley Breen for this fundraising night of laughs.
CHARLIE’S COUNTRY: Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool, July 5, 8pm. David Gulpilil stars in this tale of an indigenous man trying to find his place in white Australia, screened by the Bethany Film Festival.
STORY CLUB: The Artery, Warrnambool, July 7, 6pm. ABC’s Emily Bissland hosts this writer’s group, featuring feedback sessions and exercises.
GODSPELL: Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool, July 7, 7.30pm, July 8, 7.30pm, & July 9, 1pm & 7.30pm. Holiday Actors presents Grammy and Oscar winner Stephen Schwartz’s biblically inspired musical.
RANDOM MUSICAL: Portland Arts Centre, July 8, 2pm & 6.30pm. Join in the fun as a musical is created from scratch before your very eyes.
ART & CRAFT GROUP: Darlington Hall, July 9, 1pm. Regular art and craft group.
THE FABULOUS SINGLETTES: Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool, July 9, 8pm. This trio mix camp comedy with sweet harmonies as they pay tributes to the girl groups of the ‘60s.
WOMEN HE’S UNDRESSED: Mozart Hall, Warrnambool, July 13, 7.30pm. Australian costume designer Orry-Kelly is celebrated in this documentary, screened by F Project Cinema.
A MONTH OF SUNDAYS: Hamilton Cinema, July 14, 7.30pm & July 15, 2pm. Anthony LaPaglia stars in this recent Aussie dramedy, screened by Hamilton Film Group.
THE ADVENTURES OF ALVIN SPUTNIK, DEEP SEA EXPLORER: COPACC, Colac, July 15, 1pm & 7.30pm. This one-man show for all ages combines animation, puppetry, music and comedy.
