An extended kitten season has left RSPCA adoption shelters overflowing with more than 651 four-month-old cats and older.
A No Fee for Felines incentive will run from Friday, June 24 to Monday, June 27 to help clear shelters.
Cat adoption fees of $110 are being waived across four days to give these older felines a better chance of a loving future.
Warrnambool RSPCA have 32 adult cats and 20 kittens currently occupying their limited cages.
Shelter supervisor Tracey Scott said there was someone for every furry-friend.
These cats don’t belong here, they belong in homes.

“These cats don’t belong here, they belong in homes,” Ms Scott said.
“Some cats like Lachy have been here all their lives, which is sad because he has such a beautiful personality.
“Our last incentive did really well and we’re hoping we can see many of these guys adopted this weekend too.”
All animals come desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Normal adoption procedures still apply and efforts will be made to match each animal to the right family.
Cats make great, affordable companions for all ages.
